why is it important for clients to be aware of their bodu composition?

Why is it important for clients to be aware of their body compositions? Well there are several many different reason that a client should be aware of their body compositions. But before I explain I would like to state the different ways of coming by your body composition. One way to calculate the body composition is by skin fold calipers, when you use the skin fold calipers you are to pinch the subcutaneous fat.  You hold the fat and use the calipers, and measure it, you will also use it on three different spots: for men it is on the chest, abdomen, and thigh. For women it is on the thigh, suprailiac, and also triceps.  After you get the measurements you would add them up and use the Jackson-Pollock method to find the measurement.  A different way would be to use the bioelectrical impedance.  This is a less evasive method, when you use this it sends an electrical current through your body to find then difference between fat and muscle.  You could also use a bod pod, a bod pod uses air displacement to determine the amount of muscle and fat the individual.  Now then reason the client should be aware of their body compositions is so that they can understand where they are with their health or so that they know if they are exposed to a greater risk of disease. They could also use it to track the progression the have made of the course of their training.

As fitness professional what role do you have in promoting strong bones?

As personal trainer I believe that we should promote strong bones not only to our clients but every one that seeks professional help, or has osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a disease where decreased bone strength increases the risk of a broken bone, which is also the most common reason that elderly get broken bones.  Also there really are not any symptoms until a bone is broken.  Bones may weaken to such a degree that a break may occur with minor stress or spontaneously. There is also several different ways to strengthen bones.  There are ways such as exercise.  Exercise is a great way to help strengthen bones.  Exercise is just a great medicine for anything.  A great exercise for osteoporosis is just walking, walking as little as three to five miles per week can build bone health.  Resistance training is also something to make your bones denser.  In addition to all the different exercise that can help with osteoporosis, there are also medicines that can help.  The medicines are vitamin d and calcium.  There are tons more such as: risedronate can increase your bone mass and reduce your chances of spine, hip and other fractures, which hip injuries doubles your chance of death.  Forte which is also known as teriparatide, an injectable form of human parathyroid hormone, is approved for postmenopausal women and men with osteoporosis who are at high risk for having a fracture.  Estrogen and hormone therapy has been shown to reduce bone loss, increase bone density in both the spine and hip, and reduce the risk of spine and hip fractures in postmenopausal women.

My role in Hypertension Awareness and Education

Over the past few weeks we have learned about blood pressure, and the various conditions that come with it. One of the conditions that comes from low blood pressure is hypotension.  Hypotension is lower blood pressure, which causes: Dizziness or lightheadedness, fainting, lack of concentration, blurred vision nausea, cold, clammy and pale skin, rapid and shallow breathing, fatigue, and thirst. There is also hypertension, which is high blood pressure.  When you have high blood pressure some of the side effects are severe headaches, confusion, nausea, visual disturbances, and seizures.  There are several other conditions that come with blood pressure. There is also hyponatremia, but there are ways to make sure you don’t get any of these.  Go to the doctor to make sure your blood pressure is normal.

My First Semester at FCC…

My first semester at Fairfield career center… Well during my first semester, it was not what I thought it was going to be like. When I say it’s not like I thought it was going to be it thought it was going to be a lot more exercising.   But during the course I learned a lot more about exercising, and learned a lot of stuff I didn’t even think I was going to learn.  I also made a lot of friends at the career center.  I have also met a lot of the people that get on my nerves.  But for the most part I do like the career center better than my homeschool.

what was the multi lab zumba class like?

What did I think of the multi lab Zumba?  Well where do I start? Let’s see the first have of the Zumba class was funny.   Then during the middle of the class got even funnier when I saw a good friend of mine dancing.  I thought it was very funny because I have known him for a long time and never seen him dance before at all.  I was also upset that several other labs didn’t make it.  The labs such as cosmetology, criminal justice, and computer support technology.  I’m not sure if left out the labs that didn’t make it.

What makes a person successful?

I think there are several different things that can make a person successful.  Things such as how well someone would prepare for whatever they are trying to be successful for, or how much thought they put into their plan of action.   When a person plans for whatever they are trying to be successful for they will fully be equipped for whatever the job may be.  There are several different ways that they could get prepared like they could study for the test if they had a test, they could work out if they had a some kind of sporting event.
